Driving directions

From Fishbourne (Portsmouth)

Turn right out of the ferry terminal onto Fishbourne Lane. At the end of the lane turn right again onto the main road (A3054). Continue along, over the bridge by the Sloop Inn into Wootton, up the High Street, straight across the traffic lights at the top of the hill, over the hill and down the other side. Shortly after the bottom of the hill take the left exit from the roundabout, then keep going straight. Shortly after you enter Newport at the 4Omph limit you can see ahead the 30mph limit signs by a small rise in the road. Almost immediately over this rise on the right is the entrance to Medina Theatre (also signposted as 1Leisure Medina and Medina College), which is where we are.
Journey time approx. 10 minutes.

From East Cowes (Southampton)

Straight ahead out of ferry terminal, straight across at mini-roundabout and up the hill following the main road (A3021) right then left then up a longer hill. Through a left-right bend at the top (outside Osborne House) then keep going until the roundabout junction with the main Ryde-Newport road (A3054). Take the second (and last) exit from this roundabout (almost doubling back on yourself) then keep going on this road into Newport. Shortly after you enter Newport at the 40mph limit you can see ahead the 30mph limit signs by a small rise in the road. Almost immediately over this rise on the right is the entrance to the Medina Theatre (also signposted as 1Leisure Medina and Medina College), which is where we are.
Journey time approx. 10 minutes.

From Yarmouth (Lymington)

At the mini-roundabout at the exit of the ferry terminal, bear left on the A3054 to Newport. This road takes you directly to Newport, but does cover almost half the width of the island. The only village of note en route is Shalfleet, with a single-lane bridge. Entering Newport, through a speed-calming width restriction, the road bears right-left and onto a roundabout. Take the third exit onto the dual carriageway to the right. After a (very) short run on the dual carriageway take the slip road at the traffic lights (not the one 100 yards before the lights). The road bears left at the end of the slip road, onto a main road out of the town. Past a petrol station, and along a little further you reach a grass/tree central division in the road, for approximately 100 yards. Almost immediately after this you will see the entrance to the Medina Theatre (also signposted as 1Leisure Medina and Medina College) on the left. This is where we are.
Journey time approx. 25 minutes.
