| Fri, 18th Sep 7:30PM | An Evening with the Humour of Bob Newhart and Tom Lehrer Peter Gill joins forces with actor Andrew Meller to present a new 90 minute show dedicated to the satrical humour of American legends, Bob Newhart and Tom Lehrer.
During the 1950s and 1960s, Newhart and Lehrer were regarded as the best Ameriacan satirists. Lehrer with his sharp , often macabre and grotequely comic songs, such as The Masochism Tango, Poisoning Pigeons in the Park and I Got It From Agnes.
Newhart's far more gentle humour is witnessed in classic sketches such as The Driving Insructor, Introducing Tobacco to Civilisation and USS Codfish.
This is a wonderfully entertaining and light-hearted evening of wit suitable for all those with at least a modicum of a sense of humour. Tickets: All £10
