Isle of Wight Cantata Choir

Isle of Wight Cantata Choir performs Verdi’s superb Requiem, with solo soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor and bass soloists, accompanied by members of the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra.

First performed in 1874, the Requiem is a spectacular work, intensely dramatic and rich in colour and emotion.

The writing for the chorus, soloists and orchestra is magnificent, featuring exciting shifts in perspective and tone.

There is no other concert work quite like it.
